ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospecting, cold calling, canvasing, and a high volume of calls/phone setting appointments
- Face to face appointments
- Create and conduct sales presentations to potential customers
- Provide customer solutions through active listening and persuasive sales style
- Close deals and successfully hand off to the Customer Service Team
- Maintain call log, appointments, and closes in the CRM system
- Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude in the workplace and with customers
- Represent Downs Energy at various customer, community, and networking events
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum (3) Years of success in B2B sales
- Experience selling B2B in a high activity sales environment
- Basic level Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
- Strong sense of urgency and a roll-up-the-sleeves demeanor
- Flexible, adaptable, and team oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Compensation: Salary plus commission with an annual compensation target of $100,000 “at plan” No cap on earnings
