Fleet Card Sales Representative

Fleet Card Sales Representatives are aggressive, proven, B2B “hunters.” The selected candidate will work collaboratively with prospects, to sell a specialized fleet card program to area businesses that need fuel for their company vehicles.

Job Type: Full-Time


  • Prospecting, canvasing, and a high volume of calls/phone setting appointments
  • Face to face appointments
  • Create and conduct sales presentations to potential customers
  • Provide customer solutions through active listening and persuasive sales style
  • Close deals and successfully hand off to the Customer Service Team
  • Maintain call log, appointments, and closes in the CRM system
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude in the workplace and with customers
  • Represent Downs Energy at various customer, community, and networking events


  • Minimum (3) Years of success in B2B sales
  • Experience selling B2B in a high activity sales environment
  • Basic level Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
  • Strong sense of urgency and a roll-up-the-sleeves demeanor
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation: Salary plus commission with an annual compensation target of $100,000 “at plan” No cap on earnings
