Downs Energy was proud to attend and sponsor the Fuel Relief Fund golf tournament and fundraiser.

After a catastrophe, fuel is crucial for enabling first responders and aid workers to reach victims and save lives. Also, when power lines are down, fuel is needed to run generators that power life-saving equipment, keeping hospitals up and running, enabling setup of shelters and emergency medical facilities, and making delivery of food and water possible.

Following a disaster, the Fuel Relief Fund workers quickly coordinate delivery of free fuel to people and places that need it most, around the world.

Fuel Relief Fund

Downs Energy helps make this all possible by contributing funds from Fuel The Cause, a fund established by the Downs and Messner Families to help local, regional, and global charitable organizations and causes.

How you too can make a real impact on people’s lives: Next time you need fuel or lubricants delivered, choose Downs Energy, or stop by one of our stations. When you buy fuel and lubricants from Downs Energy, a portion of your purchase goes into the Fuel the Cause fund.
